This is my latest "active" Work In Progress - it's a long time favorate ship design of mine - the Starfighter from Buck Rogers.
It was originally concepted for Battlestar Galactica but finally made it's way to the Buck Rogers TV series.
Here are some progress shots of it in the 30 or so hours I've been pottering with it - by far the most time consuming part has been the interior as I spend hours making things up and then deciding I don't like them and confining them to the waste basket and starting again . The actual ship took me about 12-13 hours to complete and the cockpit interior is what's taking me so long to finish now - damn that creativity streak! ;)
all images are linked to larger versions - graphic intensive - beware! ;o)

Stage 3 - start work
on the cockpit interior - this is where I slow down as I grasp into
my brain to get some ideas for cockpits ;o)
